COTTAGE CHIC CELEBRATES 10 YEARS

Cottage Chic, a lifestyle store on East Boulevard in Dilworth, is celebrating 10 years in business this November. In 2003 Designer Aynsley Mahoney joined forces with mother-daughter team Mary Council and Julie Smith to bring a unique selection of linens, furniture, gifts and clothing to Charlotte. Over the years the store has gained a faithful following; customers know they will receive highly individualized customer service whether they are decorating an entire home, looking for a new pair of jeans or shopping for a baby gift. This is emphasized by their numerous community accolades, including seven Best of the Best Awards from Charlotte Magazine. While the shop itself has changed and evolved over the last decade, its this consistently friendly, neighborhood vibe that keeps people coming back time and again. Many of our customers have become dear friends over the years, says Mahoney. We love it when people stop in to visit and enjoy this happy place for a while.

The store will be hosting a three-day party to celebrate this milestone on November 7th, 8th and 9th. There will be refreshments, a trunk show featuring their signature Bella Notte Linens, fun giveaways and drawings for ten separate $100 gift certificates.
