Since 1964, Festival in the Park has been one of Charlotte’s cant-miss events! 2019 Festival in the Park kicks off on Friday, September 20th and runs through Sunday, September 22nd. Guests of the 55th annual event will enjoy food, music, entertainment, local art, shopping and fun!

Entry to the festival is free but parking can get a little tricky! I recommend walking, biking or scootering if you live in Dilworth or the surrounding neighborhoods. Uber and Lyft are always an option or you can try your hand at parking (here’s a list of surrounding spots!). Additionally, three local schools accept $10 donations in exchange for parking: CMC Myers Park (1350 S Kings Dr., Charlotte, NC 28207), Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School (3100 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28209 at Princeton Avenue), Myers Park Traditional School (2132 Radcliffe Ave., Charlotte, NC 28207).
