American Pit Bull Foundation Summer Concert Benefit
Hey guys, here is your opportunity to help out an amazing local foundation and enjoy some incredible music and meet a celebrity!!! The American Pit Bull Foundation is having its first ever Summer Concert Benefit Saturday, July 16th at Amos” Southend just outside of the Dilworth neighborhood. The American Pit Bull Foundation “APBF” is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the sole purpose of:
Owner and Public education
Positive alternatives to Pit fighting
Programs to endorse and recognize responsible breed ownership
Provide medical and financial assistance for dogs with responsible owners
Aid in the adoption of Pit Bulls to responsible individuals or families
Ihe event will be benefiting the APBF and proceeds from the Summer Concert Benefit will help fund the programs and community efforts of the American Pit Bull Foundation.The summer concert benefit will feature live music from six bands:
Celebrity guest Shorty Rossi from Animal Planets hit t.v. show”Pit Boss“” will be the official MC of the event. Shorty will be accompanied by Hercules, his own Pit Bull companion. Shorty has been rescuing and advocating for the breed since 2001 and continues to fulfill his mission in targeting discrimination through public speaking, funding spay/neuter programs, and education.
The event will also feature a book signingwith Ken Foster, the author of ” The dogs who found me” and ” DogsI have met ” and the founder of the Sula Foundation. Tavern on the Tracks and Luce will both be attending the event and offering up some mouth-watering culinary creations and a silent donation auction will also be held to help raise money for this amazing organization. Tickets for this event are only $25 for general admission and $75 for VIP access. Festivities will start at 2pm and the music will kick off at 4pm.
