Dilworth Soup Kitchen – Self-Care Items Needed

Hi Dilworth! Meet Rachel Silverman. This Dilworth local is helping Dilworth Soup Kitchen collect donations for “to-go” bags of self-care items. Dilworth Soup Kitchen, located at The First Christian Church, has secured plenty of food donations from local grocery stores and they’d like to provide the guests with a little something extra for the upcoming holiday.

Items needed:

1. Cold weather accessories: socks, gloves, ski hats

2. Toiletries: Wash cloths, toothbrush, toothpaste, bar soap, deodorant, hand sanitizer, band-aids, razor, shaving cream, comb, wet wipes

3. Snacks: individually wrapped candies, Slim Jims, canned wieners, protein bars

If you’d like to donate, please email or text your address to Rachel and she’ll collect the donations on Sunday, November 24th.
