Dilworth Summer Market Snapshot
Coming off a hot spring (market-wise, that is), and heading in to a seemingly strong fall market lies the infamous summer market! Summer real estate markets are historically slower due to vacations, scorching temperatures, and everyone’s desire to stay inside as much as possible (ie: nobody is packing boxes and moving in this southern heat). While the summer market is definitely slower than spring a few months ago, we are still seeing pretty solid activity and sales numbers. As mentioned before on DilworthCharlotte.com, a neighborhood having six+ months of home inventory is considered to be a “buyers market”, having less than six months of inventory usually illustrates a sellers market. Based on the snapshot below, Dilworth is trending toward a sellers market – meaning home inventory is low, and now would be a great time to list!
Kids are heading back to school next month, and temperatures are going to cool off before we know it. Are you ready to list or buy in the fall? It is time to start planning and prepping NOW. This is a fun process for us! We have been doing it for years. DilworthCharlotte.com is always happy to answer any questions or quell any fears you may have about the home buying or selling process.
