Seller Q&A | 2017 Lyndhurst
Too often in today’s busy real estate market, a buyer’s focus is placed on features, upgrades, location & of course, price! While we definitely agree those are essential elements to consider before making an offer on an home, we felt there was something missing: the stories. The memories made. The voices of the people who live in these homes. So we decided to change that! Recently we reached out to our lovely sellers at 2017 Lyndhurst Avenue (check out the original post!) to find out what made their home a home, and naturally we thought our readers would enjoy. Take a look at our Q&A below.
How long have you lived in your current home? We have lived here for a little over 2 years.
Favorite memory in your home? Our favorite memory is hard to narrow down to just one. If we had to pick, it would be our first Christmas here! Watching our kids see what Santa left by the chimney in our new home was priceless.
What will you miss most? We will miss the awesome neighbors most. They say you can’t pick your family OR your neighbors, and whoever lives here is very lucky that they do not have to worry about the latter. There is a great sense of community and checking in amongst those living on the block.
What do you hope the new owners will enjoy? We hope the new owners enjoy all the things we’ve mentioned so far as well as the amazing possibilities to make this home their own. With 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths, you have options in how you want to configure the space. Plus, tons of storage!
What do you love most about the neighborhood? We love so many things about the neighborhood! What’s not to love?! 3 blocks from Southend/Atherton Mill, 4 blocks from Latta Park/Dilworth Elementary, 2 blocks from East Blvd and 1 home away from being in the Historic District. Every thing is at your fingertips at this location. It’s hard to place a value on that. Add in the amazing people and it can’t be beat.
Favorite neighborhoods spots to shop, eat, etc? We love everything Atherton Mills has to offer. The farmers market is our favorite to grab that much needed parental caffeine boost!
