All About Summer Events
The kids are out of school, lightning bugs are flying, and the neighborhood smells like backyard barbecues. This could only mean one thing – it is summertime in Charlotte! Here’s my list of five can’t-miss summer events:
Dishes and Delights of Dilworth Tour is an intimate walking food tour featuring six culinary experiences, ranging from casual eateries to wine bars and restaurants. There will be hands-on demonstrations and blind taste tastings. The June date is sold out; two opportunities are available in July. Start the evening with a one-hour yoga class (free to Mint members or $10 NC Yoga Bar pass) then explore the art exhibits and galleries. More information: https://mintmuseum.org
Knight’s Games at BB&T Ballpark are the quintessential Charlotte summer event. Enjoy drink specials on Thirsty Thursdays, fireworks on Fridays and Saturdays, and special events like “Bark in the Park.” View the schedule here: https://www.milb.com/charlotte-knights/schedule/2019-06
