Festival in the Park
Every year in mid-September, Dilworth’s Freedom Park hosts a beautiful, family-friendly event: Festival in the Park!
Festival in the Park “celebrates art, fun and music” with Freedom Park as its backdrop. Thousands ofpeople attended last year’s event over the course of the weekend, and in fact, Festival in the Park has been named on of the “Top 20 Events in the Southeast” (during the month of September) according to the Southeastern Tourism Society. Big things are happening in Dilworth’s backyard!
According to AboutTravel.com, “over 1,000 artists and entertainers are set to perform in some fashion, and close to 200 arts and crafts exhibits are scheduled, with seven stages devoted to live music, performances, clowns and more. Visitors will have the chance to see, hear, and learn from over 150 artists and craft designers who will demonstrate and display their art.”

Friday, September 25, 2015: 4 to 9:30 pm Saturday, September 26, 2015: 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2015: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
